Are you happy? Today I am going to teach you a simple trick to increase happiness and stress less in life.

Stop whatever you’re doing at the moment then take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes if you need to.

I want you to pick TWO random persons you’ve come across in your life. It can be your relatives whom you last met in January or the barista you get your coffee from. It can be the Grab driver from yesterday, your boss and even the security guard working in your apartment.

Take a brief moment and think about what would it be like if you’re living their lives – both hard and easy. After that, mentally wish them –

“I wish for this person to be happy”

Got it? It’s that simple.

Why is this important for you? Despite the interest in self-care these days, there are strong evidence that suggests what the wisdom from ages is true. When you turn attention away from yourself and channel it towards others, you will become happier.

A new study from the Iowa State University finds that when you mentally wish others well for just a brief moment, a minute or so, you will be considerably happier and stress less. The effect is so good that it’s better than people engaging in other seemingly beneficial activities such as exercises and doing things that you like. The work was pulished in the Journal of Happiness Studies.

Remember this, the most important asset of your body is your brain! It’s not your heart, lungs, liver or kidneys! When you take good care of your brain, your brain will take care of your body.

Many people fake happiness, it’s quite easy to tell them apart. They are usually narccistic, or they derive joy by making others feel miserable. I usually can detect their bullshit within 20 seconds meeting them. It’s usually always not something to do with their behaviour or attitude, but I always see them as deficient in some neurotransmitters. Well, that will be a different topic for another day!

  1. The practise has been done by me last 2 years ago. I am not always on the road. Always pray good things for loved one, my friends and you too coach. Living in healthy mind very important for me. Because in my family traits, depression occurred from generations to generations
