In the pursuit of losing the stubborn fats and achieving a healthier lifestyle, the options for fat loss programs can seem endless. What can you do?

From trendy diets to intense workout regimes, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure about which path to take. However, amidst all the noise, there’s one crucial factor that often gets overlooked – your willingness to commit to the program.

We are now living in world where most people have the attention span of a goldfish. This is no thanks to social media forcing information into our heads no matter it is useful or useless. We have reels, stories and TikTok videos that usually don’t teach us a lot of stuff. The average human attention span in modern society is roughly about 20 seconds.

When it comes to losing fat and building a healthier body, you won’t learn that information within 20 seconds for sure. That’s why stupid weight loss products, questionable supplements and ‘ab sculpting‘ gadgets are selling like hot cakes. People just want the quick and easy way out and they think they can just buy good health and fitness. Well too bad if you have this mindset.

The best diet for fat loss? Does it exists?

There are many types of programs that cover all sorts of diets, exercise program and even medidation programs that claim to help you achieve fat loss. Heck, last year I came across someone in a Facebook group promoting ‘floatation therapy’ that claims to help you achieve weight loss by just floating in a swimming pool. Nauzubillah min Zalik! I’m not surprised that there are programs like these but I’m more surprised by people who actually believe in them & would not think twice to sign up!

In my DreiOptima Performance Protocol™ system, I don’t promote fancy diets. I don’t promote fancy exercises that claim to help you achieve amazing results without doing much. When it comes to nutrition, I am a strong believer that you need to eat according to your genes. This is a concept that most so-called “coaches’ will never be able to understand. You can’t prescribe one way of eating to everyone! It just doesn’t work that way.

The inuits (it’s an insult to call them Eskimos) can thrive and live on a high fat low carb diet. On the other hand, the natives of Kitava Islands are lean, healthy and very fit on a 70% high carb diet. As a matter of fact, studies have shown that the Kitavans have extremely low rates of diabetes, very low rate of fasting insulin levels and their health is practically near perfect. The trick is to figure out what type of nutrition works best for your genes and that’s the advantage of my DPP™ system which can help you to figure it out.

How about the best fat loss workout?

Fat loss workouts? Let’s not even go there. Some so-called ‘experts’ claimed that if you’re obese all you need to do is to go on a starvation diet (they call it ‘fasting’) and go brisk walking everyday. Good luck with that. No amount of willpower will work. Decades of research have shown that the most optimal way to achieve fat loss is by having enough muscle mass. You can’t grow your muscles by briskwalking!

Resistance training is KING of all exercise whether you like it or not. When it comes to resistance training, the basics that have worked for decades will guarantee the best results. We’re talking about the squats, bench press, rows, presses. But what do we have today? We have “planking challenge” and “squatting on a bosu ball” or “Do this daily and you’ll grow a six packs” Tik-Tok style of workout. Oh my ……

No matter whether it’s nutrition or exercise. The best… and I mean the ABSOLUTE BEST program.. is the one you’re willing to do. I can write the best nutrition & exercise plan for you, but if the main effort you’re putting in is to come back with excuses why you can’t do it, then it’s a lousy program because you’re not willing to do it. (Excuses are just a way of saying “I don’t want to do it”)
